Jayne Eastwood got her start in performing after being cast in the cult Canadian film Going Down the Road. Jayne continued to make a name for herself in the theatre scene in Toronto, and became one of the founding members of The Second City Toronto.
Jayne stayed in Toronto, got married and continued to work steadily while raising three children. She appeared on King of Kensington, Funny Farm, and Bizarre.
In 1997 Jayne joined the ensemble cast of Riverdale on CBC. Throughout the same period she filmed two seasons of Noddy and Friends (PBS/TVO) playing the larger than life Aunt Agatha for which she won a Gemini Award.
Jayne was last seen in the feature films Chicago and My Big Fat Greek Wedding. As well she has been in many movies of the week on ABC, CBS, and NBC with stars like Paul Newman, Bette Midler and Tim Allen. Recently, she was a regular on the hit series This Is Wonderland. Recently, Jayne can be seen on the television series Billable Hours as a regular and in the film Hairspray with John Travolta.
